I have got to get better at sharing these gorgeous sessions I have been documenting this year! I loved this session!!! Everything was perfect make up, outfits, location and energy. When you have all of that for your session magic happens. So hard to choose favorites but below are few from my session with Amber and daddy to be.

Ahhh one of my very first creative projects in studio! I was able to just practice and try out many looks with Mommy K. I love shooting outdoors and on location… but there is just something about the simplicity and creative feel of shooting in studios where the focus is just on the subject.

So many favorites from this session!!! I cannot believe how long it has taken me to share this dream maternity sessions at the gardens. Looking back and sharing these images I documented makes me so happy and takes me back to this day! I just love what I do and creating these images, these memories is what I strive for!
Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday just a few more days till the weekend!!! One of my favorite places to document maternity sessions is at UNC Gardens! It is such a beautiful location all year round! This sweet couple looked amazing for their session. One of the things I love to do with my clients is help them plan what to wear. Sometimes my clients already have a dress picked out or few items for the wardrobe and I help to tweak it so it looks best on camera. I’m so glad Anh trusted me to help style her session… I love the way the colors of their outfits complement the location. When planning your outfits always think of where you will be documented it will give your images an extra pop. Below are just a few of my favorites…it was so hard to choose! Enjoy!

This momma to be was just gorgeous for her milk bath maternity session!
Now that it’s starting to get chilly or if your having a summer baby and can’t stand the heat… a milk bath session is what you might need. Mommy to be say it is an amazing experience and feel as if they are being pampered. I loved creating these sessions. Flowers are real and milk is also used. Some of my favorites from the session below.
I so so so loved capturing this gorgeous momma to be and her husband! Husband gifted her a session for her birthday it was sweet! It was short, fun and sweet photography experience which is what they wanted. This session was taken at Colonel Francis Beatty Park in early spring. I love the lighting in these images it matches the mood. Below are a few of my favorites.
A tip- When planning your outfit for your session plan on wearing layers. Layers give the image more depth so the more layers and textures you can add to your outfit the better it will create a more interesting photograph.
Ha like my titles!!! After blogging a few sessions in a row it gets a bit tiring writing the same boring titles.

I absolutely loved working with this Momma to be!!! This is her 3rd baby boy and she looked stunning! From her first look outside in the freezing cold to her second maternity look in a milk bath with sunflowers and black lace dress.
Better late than never!!! I can’t believe I have not posted since November… I have been busy photographing my wonderful clients and taking care of my almost 8 month old baby girl and 6 year old boy but I’m hoping to get back to the regular blogging schedule. Anyone else enjoying the sun in the Carolinas :)
