Today I'm sharing one of my recent favorite in home maternity sessions! It was so much fun and I loved photographing Alison's maternity session. She is so calm, graceful and pregnancy looks so well on her. We planned the outfits around the nursery and chose a color "white" that would stand out but was neutral enough to go with the design of the room. We did a couple of different looks for her session we did some back lit window poses, photos in the nursery, living room and even kitchen (sorry didn't post the Kitchen ones...) It is such a joy to document these special moments of waiting for baby and the look of anticipation before baby arrives. Enjoy!

Happy Friday guys! It is perfect weather here in Charlotte :) not cold not hot just perfect. Let me share with you guys one of my favorites maternity session from last winter. The colors... the location... the connection between Maricarmen & Patrick was amazing. The session takes place in one of my favorite places to photograph Clark's Creek Nature Preserve it is just a wide open field with beautiful big trees and trails to walk. Hurray for the weekend! It's Friday. Keeping up the Blog post Friday let me introduce to you beautiful Amma, She was radiant and breathtaking beautiful as she glowed for her pictures. I was so in love with everything from the session it just happened to be an overcast day. Which in my opinion creates the most beautiful light because the sky becomes a huge soft box of soft light. This day could have not been more perfect. Amma's dress and her headband was a perfect combination for the look and feel for her session. Oh Neilsa!!! How I love this gorgeous mama to be and baby's daddy has some great style too. This was such a fun session to photograph these two and Neilsa's mom had me laughing the whole time. The session takes place at Vanlandingham Estate a gorgeous property in Charlotte NC you should definitely go visit it is a hidden gem in Charlotte.
