I grew up in the sprawling expanse of São Paulo, Brazil. Confined mostly to apartment living, I sought refuge in the great outdoors and eventually I turned within the ever expanding internal world of a very imaginative child.  I moved to the United States 9 years ago and my whole life changed.

Ever since I was a child, I knew I was sensitive and introspective. I have always felt most authentic when engaged in creative endeavors, whether painting, crafting, or immersing myself in literary works like poetry, novels and philosophical texts. Yet, practicalities of life led me to the path of Law, a decision driven by financial necessity but tinged with regret due to its passionless nature. It wasn't until I relocated to Washington DC  in my early twenties that I found the time and space to reflect on my true calling. The allure of creative outlets, a constant companion since childhood, drew me once more.

I dedicated all my energy to painting and, for the past couple of years, to photography, perpetually captivated by the nuanced interplay of faces, emotions,  textures, and color compositions. This journey has been a testament to the enduring power of sensitivity and a lifelong pursuit of the artistry that flows from within.

As a portrait & engagement photographer, my passion is for capturing people in their element, showcasing their physical presence but also the depth of their personality and emotions. I feel most successful when I achieve connection with people and my surroundings,  all through the lens. I’m excited to be a part of this team and to collaborate with people, serving as a tool to help them reveal their inner worlds and express themselves freely.
