Charlotte Wedding Photographer: Venue Feature Separk Mansion
The mansion is a historic site and was previously owned by Joseph Separk in 1919 and renovated in 2012. The house has been renovated beautifully and has lots of its wonderful character. Photographing the Mansion was a dream the moment you step on to the property you feel like your in another city another country even. The Mansion can accommodate 250 guests inside the mansion’s ballroom for a wedding reception, 200 for a plated dinner and 250 for a wedding ceremony in the garden. In the back of the Mansion is the gardens where most wedding ceremonies take place (they also have an indoor rain back up plan), and the moment you walk in from the back you enter into a grand open ballroom with the most beautiful crystal chandeliers, restored hardwoods floor and grand staircase. It also a expansive tile and limestone veranda connecting to the rooms perfect for cocktails or anything else you would need for your reception. When you go to the Front of the mansion you will find a great patio with string lights perfect for cocktails as well. When you go back inside the house and upstairs you will find a room where you can host winter ceremonies or back up plan to the garden ceremony as well as bride and groom separate suites to get ready in. It also has a dividing door to separate the hallways and staircase for the groom to go through and never see the bride :)
Enjoy! Welcome to the Tour!
