Charlotte Wedding Photographer: Venue Feature Separk Mansion
The mansion is a historic site and was previously owned by Joseph Separk in 1919 and renovated in 2012. The house has been renovated beautifully and has lots of its wonderful character. Photographing the Mansion was a dream the moment you step on to the property you feel like your in another city another country even. The Mansion can accommodate 250 guests inside the mansion’s ballroom for a wedding reception, 200 for a plated dinner and 250 for a wedding ceremony in the garden. In the back of the Mansion is the gardens where most wedding ceremonies take place (they also have an indoor rain back up plan), and the moment you walk in from the back you enter into a grand open ballroom with the most beautiful crystal chandeliers, restored hardwoods floor and grand staircase. It also a expansive tile and limestone veranda connecting to the rooms perfect for cocktails or anything else you would need for your reception. When you go to the Front of the mansion you will find a great patio with string lights perfect for cocktails as well. When you go back inside the house and upstairs you will find a room where you can host winter ceremonies or back up plan to the garden ceremony as well as bride and groom separate suites to get ready in. It also has a dividing door to separate the hallways and staircase for the groom to go through and never see the bride :)
Enjoy! Welcome to the Tour!
Happy Monday guys! It snowed in Charlotte this Sunday... Crazy right... anyways let me welcome you to the grand tour of the Separk Mansion located in Gastonia, NC just a few minutes outside of Charlotte. I had the pleasure of visiting and was given a personal tour by one of the wonderful ladies at the Mansion earlier this month when the weather was gorgeous and in the high 70's (I know...)

Charlotte Wedding Photographer: Featured Venue Bungalow 1325
The bungalow is also available for photo sessions, private boudoir sessions, and small gatherings... you can even host a small baby shower it has a functioning kitchen and bathroom. This one is a treat and the interior designer wanna be in me was in heaven. This bungalow is a restored home, you can feel the character the moment you walk in with original hardwoods and wall textures in the rooms. When you first walk in you step into the living room and can see the dining room through the arched walls, from there you can walk into the kitchen or into the hallway that leads to the bridal suite with a full bed and vanity, a bathroom that has a claw tub and another small sitting room space that features a TV area (also called the Viewing room.)
Welcome to the Tour, Enjoy!

You will fall in love with this historic mansion built in the 1915's and saved in 1998.
