Charlotte Family Photography: Stanton Family

Hello Monday! This weekend's weather reminded me of this family session.Today I'm sharing a little family love on my blog - Family portraits, it has been a while since I have posted one and I'm excited to share with you this cold early spring session. It was sooo windy very windy. But I loved how the wind was blowing the girls hair; it was a little challenging but we made the best out of it! The kids ran, danced and played a little soccer in between while I took mommy & daddy's photo. It was such a beautiful sunny day despite the wind. Enjoy!

Today I'm sharing one of my recent favorite in home maternity sessions! It was so much fun and I loved photographing Alison's maternity session. She is so calm, graceful and pregnancy looks so well on her. We planned the outfits around the nursery and chose a color "white" that would stand out but was neutral enough to go with the design of the room. We did a couple of different looks for her session we did some back lit window poses, photos in the nursery, living room and even kitchen (sorry didn't post the Kitchen ones...) It is such a joy to document these special moments of waiting for baby and the look of anticipation before baby arrives. Enjoy!

Your Mission as a blogger in your words?

My mission is to help inspire and empower women to find contentment within the boundaries of their budget - no matter what that budget may be. And what I mean by that is, we all have different lifestyles and income levels, but that's okay!

I want to help women learn to wear the things they already own, be a go-to guide for budget friendly fashion finds + gifts that won't break the bank and help women determine for themselves what they see as a save vs. splurge.

Life is all about balance, but it doesn't have to boring and you don't have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to look like a million bucks. There's so much power in contentment and using what you have to your best abilities!

Charlotte Wedding Photographer: Venue Feature Separk Mansion

The mansion is a historic site and was previously owned by Joseph Separk in 1919 and renovated in 2012. The house has been renovated beautifully and has lots of its wonderful character. Photographing the Mansion was a dream the moment you step on to the property you feel like your in another city another country even. The Mansion can accommodate 250 guests inside the mansion’s ballroom for a wedding reception, 200 for a plated dinner and 250 for a wedding ceremony in the garden. In the back of the Mansion is the gardens where most wedding ceremonies take place (they also have an indoor rain back up plan), and the moment you walk in from the back you enter into a grand open ballroom with the most beautiful crystal chandeliers, restored hardwoods floor and grand staircase. It also a expansive tile and limestone veranda connecting to the rooms perfect for cocktails or anything else you would need for your reception. When you go to the Front of the mansion you will find a great patio with string lights perfect for cocktails as well. When you go back inside the house and upstairs you will find a room where you can host winter ceremonies or back up plan to the garden ceremony as well as bride and groom separate suites to get ready in. It also has a dividing door to separate the hallways and staircase for the groom to go through and never see the bride :)

Enjoy! Welcome to the Tour!
