Hello friends! Today I am so excited to share one of my favorite bakeries in Charlotte and it's "Nona's Sweet Bakery." This is the place I go to get my favorite cupcake from their naked cupcake bar; where you can choose what cupcake flavor you want with whatever icing you would like out of their many buttercream flavors...and you can't forget the toppings... if you want to go a little crazy with your cheat day. They are not only a bakery but they also offer a cafe for lunch and your coffee needs. But today I will be featuring Dominica co-owner, wedding cake baker and designer with 16 years in business experience. We will be giving you a little behind scenes tour of the bakery, she will also be sharing some information on the bakery, a tip for choosing your wedding sweets and what it takes to deliver a wedding cake and have set up picture perfect for your next big event. This particular cake was made for a special couple that got married at Alexander Homestead a beautiful event space in Charlotte. Enjoy!

When did you open Style perfect Events? Why the name
I launched Style Perfect Events in March of 2009
When deciding on the business name 8 years ago, I listed several words and adjectives that resonated with me as a wedding and event planner and "Style Perfect" just stuck with me. However, over the years the business has grown in to its name as we focus primarily on wedding design and styling.

So excited for this next post I'm going to be sharing with all my clients & readers. Today I get to share the behind the scenes and results of the makings of Floral creations by Stacey the head floral designer and owner from Willow Branch flowers located in Mooresville, NC.
Stacey is the sweetest and you can see she puts attention to every detail, looks over every detail twice sometimes even 3 times and more to make sure it looks up to her standard. After following her around I got to experience just a little bit of what it takes to display and create the floral designs for an event. This particular event took place for a 50th year birthday bash and some of her floral designs took many hours to make.

Happy Thursday! Today I get to share with you a sweet cake smash! I had the privilege of photographing a sweet family! Baby I' was the sweetest and such a happy baby to photograph! This was the first time he had eaten cake and he loved his cake so much he got to the bottom of the cake platter.
